Clients share information with me from the moment they sit in the chair. It is here as a stylist I must take a minute to understand who my client is, firstly based on their physical appearance and also the time line we are experiencing. (Are they just off work etc.)

 Then we discuss who they wish to be in the moments of transformation. This can range from minutes to a few hours depending what it is they are asking to achieve.

What happens when the client has a skin condition, that they wish they didn't? What are the alternatives in this day and age to create a new look, from the youth with acne,or pimples to worried wrinkled client that would like a very specific response from their viewers.


My insight here is that many people have not found the alternatives that are readily available to everyone. It is here through education we must have a desire to create a skin care program that might change and control (to some degree) results. Good Skin, HD Skin Care takes time and commitment to a specific ritual. While you can often see visible results quickly, lasting results on skin requires our attention and commitment. That attention is a process or what some call a daily regime.

 From a small pimple outbreak in youth to the wrinkled mature client we now have a wide array of choices to make. Where do you people look for answers? News reports, magazines are often good sources yet often we look to trusted friends to be the first to understand our situations and concerns.
Where do they get the right information to address specific concerns? The internet is a great resource available but how do we know that what is being offered there will provide the solution that we are looking for? Again our friends are often consulted simply because they may either know someone or tried something that worked for them or a relative. Our mind will seek out many accounts of experience before trusting someone to assist us in the next step.

As a professional cosmetologist finding the right products to support our clients requires investigation/education to achieving the best results. Professional sales marketing suppliers in our industry are limited and can only support a individual needs so far. Even the professional will have had to have the mind imprinted with that specific information numerous times before it becomes the choice product for helping us to make the changes we are seeking.

We rely on social media, television and radio to support our transition to the healthy skin, natural glow possible for most people. Doctors do have their place in all this research yet we will rely heavily on what our close groups are finding is working.
